WHY WE STARTED
We got tired of plumbers who wouldn't give a straight answer.
Fifteen years ago a plumber quoted one price over the phone and charged double on the day. We built Harbour Plumbing to be the opposite of that, with the price written down before we start.

I kept watching good tradespeople get undercut by bad habits: vague quotes over the phone, call-backs that never came, invoices that grew once the van was already in the driveway. I wanted a business where the price you hear is the price you pay.
The moment that still sticks with me was a 2am callout to a young family in Dee Why whose kitchen pipe had burst under the sink. Water was coming through the floorboards into the garage below. We had the water off within five minutes of arriving and a fixed price written down before any tool came out of the van. That is the standard we hold to on every job, whether it is a Tuesday morning blocked drain or a Saturday night emergency.
Fifteen years later we are still a Manly-based team working the same streets: Manly, Dee Why, Mona Vale, Avalon, Palm Beach and everywhere between. We know which blocks still run old clay pipes, which buildings are on gas and which hot water systems are on their last legs before the owner does. That local knowledge is why most jobs take one visit instead of three.

A fixed price before we start
We quote the job in writing before anyone picks up a tool, with no surprises added once we are on site. A blocked drain starts from $220, a hot water system replacement from $1,450 installed, and the $99 callout fee is waived the moment we do the work.
Same-day, not sometime this week
Call before midday most weekdays and we are usually on site that afternoon. Burst pipes, gas leaks and no hot water jump the queue, and we run emergency callouts around the clock, seven days a week.
Twelve months behind every job
Every repair and installation carries our 12-month guarantee. If something we fixed fails within the year, we come back and put it right at no extra cost, no questions about who did the original job.

Every plumber on the Harbour Plumbing van has worked the Northern Beaches for years, not months.
