We quote before we touch anything
The plumber inspects the job on site and gives you a fixed price in writing before touching a tool. Say yes and the callout fee is waived; say no and you have simply paid for an honest assessment.
We do the job, on the date agreed
Parts, labour and cleanup are all included in the price you agreed to. Nothing changes once the van is parked outside and the job is underway.

Every completed job carries a 12-month guarantee. If something related to our work plays up, we come back and put it right at no extra charge.

Do you cover my suburb?
We work right across the Northern Beaches, from Manly, Dee Why and Mona Vale up to Newport, Avalon and Palm Beach. Tell us your suburb when you call and we will confirm straight away whether a same-day visit is on the cards.
How much does a callout cost?
The callout fee is $99, and it covers the plumber's time getting to your door and assessing the job. If you go ahead with the work we quote, that fee is waived completely and comes off the final price.
What does clearing a blocked drain cost?
Clearing a blocked drain starts from $220, confirmed as a fixed price once we have had a proper look with a camera. Most household blockages, from kitchen sinks to tree roots in the sewer line, are cleared in the one visit.
How fast can you install a new hot water system?
Replacements start from $1,450 installed, and we carry the common electric, gas and heat pump models on the van. Most Northern Beaches households are back to hot water the same day they call, especially if the old unit has failed overnight.
Are you licensed for gas work?
Yes. Harbour Plumbing holds a NSW plumbing and gasfitting licence, 123456C, and every gas job, from a cooktop swap to a full reticulation, is signed off with the compliance paperwork on completion.
What happens if something goes wrong after the job?
Every job we complete carries a 12-month guarantee. If an issue traces back to our workmanship within that period, we come back and fix it properly at no extra cost to you.
Do you quote bathroom renovations as one fixed price?
We quote the plumbing scope of a bathroom renovation in writing before any wall comes off, covering rough-in, fixtures and final fit-off. You get one number to plan against, not an hourly estimate that climbs once the job is underway.
What if it's an after-hours emergency?
We take calls outside business hours as well as during them, seven days a week. Describe the problem and we will tell you honestly whether it needs an emergency visit tonight or can safely wait until the next business day.
